  • Past research work: In the past several years, I have mainly participated several national projects on WebGIS, SDSS and 3D GIS. Therefore, I have acquired related theories and techniques through the research, and published ten related papers.

[DOCTOR THESIS]

Title: Study on the method and technology of tourist travel decision support system

Research contents: The major objective is to design and realize tourist travel decision support system to provide services for tourist travel. These services include information query service and tourist route intelligent selection service before travel and evaluation and feedback service after travel. The following progress is achieved. 

  • The spatial decision process of the tourist travel is studied. It is put forward that the multi-modal cognitive, multi-model decision-making, case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning integrated research are the primary methods of tourist travel decision support system, and the establishment of tourist travel decision support system is an important technology providing tourist travel decision service.
  • The data modeling and data management of tourism travel decision support system are studied, and database construction and data encoding are realized, and data processing system is developed to maintain database dynamically.
  • The knowledge database and case database of tourist travel decision support are studied. It is put forward that knowledge is represented by using production rule extension, and tourist travel decision knowledge database and case database are designed by using database normal formula theory. The reasoning methods of knowledge database and case database are realized. And finally tourism travel decision knowledge database and case database are built.
  • Using case-based reasoning, rule-based reasoning, multimedia and virtual scene as tourist travel decision assistant tool, tourist travel decision evaluation and feedback tool to maintain case database, tourist travel decision support playing chess system is designed to help tourist with tourist travel.
  • Take Yunnan Province tourist travel decision support system as an example, the tourist travel decision support system is studied.

[RESEARCH EXPERIENCE AND PROJECTS]

1. Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 2007.3-present

  • Tourist travel decision support system study sponsored by Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence. 2007.3-2008.6. In this project, I have developed tourist travel decision support system to provide services for tourist travel. I was responsible for system architecture design and key algorithms development. This software has been registered in National Bureau of Patent.
  • China sustainable development overall capacity management system. 2008.7-2008.12. The purpose of this project is to develop software for management of atlas of Chinese sustainable development. This project is carried out with IIS 6.0, Asp.net , ArcGIS Server of ESRI and Oracle. I was responsible for programming and software maintenance.
  • Project of Ministry of Science and Technology of China: research on method theory of geo-information science. 2009.1-present. The purpose of this project is to summarize and collect ideas, theories and methods of geographical information science from a large number of existing cases at home and abroad on the basis of geography, earth system science, geographic information science, in order to provide services for the scholars of the field. I was responsible for research on geographical information service technology.  

2. Beijing financial bureau. 2006.9-2007.2.

  • Beijing Financial Bureau GIS software development. 2006.9-2007.2. The purpose of this project is to develop GIS software for management of finance. This project is carried out with J2EE, WebLogic and ArcIMS. I was responsible for programming and software maintenance.

3. China University of Petroleum, 2003.9-2006.6

  • 3D visualizing GIS of China University of Petroleum. 2003. 9-2003. 12. The purpose of this project is to build virtual campus of China University of Petroleum. This project is carried out with IMAGIS that is 3D geographic information system software platform of China. I was responsible for system architecture design and software development.
  • Gudong-zhuangxi sea wall GIS software development. 2005.3-2005.12. The purpose of this project is to develop software for management of sea wall geographic information. This project is carried out with Visual Basic, MapX, Oracle and Oracle Spatial. I was responsible for system architecture design and software development.
  • Research on integration of 2DGIS and 3DGIS based on Java and Java3D. 2004.2-2006.3. In this research, using Java and Java3D, I have developed prototype system, which is to integrate 2D GIS and 3D GIS. 2D GIS is to display 2D map, and 3D GIS is to display 3D scene. They are joined by ID. I finished my master's thesis by this research.
  • China University of Petroleum, 1999.9-2003.6. I study the foundation of GIS and remote sensing as well as surveying and mapping.
