GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Day is an an-nual event sponsored by ESRI, the United States Geo-logical Survey, the National Geographic Society, the Association of American Geographers, the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science, the Library of Congress, and Sun Microsystems. This event allows Eastern Michigan University to showcase their projects and services to a variety of individuals, schools, and other organizations.
