Activity 1.5 - Do Race & Ethnicity Lesson

As a first, collaborative activity, we'd like each VISIT participant to do a lesson included on the ESRI CD. This is the first part of a two-part activity.

What to do?

Locate, print, and do the Race & Ethnicity lesson from the ESRI CD. Take notes about what you learn as you do the lesson; the next activity asks you to describe what you learned.

The ESRI CD contains many lessons that are classroom-tested. Each lesson employs ArcVoyager software in a curriculum-based context that leads to inquiry.

If you are completely new to ArcView / ArcVoyager you might wish to do the Q-Start activity. Both Q-Start and Race & Ethnicity are located in the [Voyager] folder on the ESRI CD.

Where to find Installation Directions

Read the instructions for locating the lessons on the ESRI CD. The instructions are in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).
